Featured Application
BridgeVUE
Designed for the MS Hololens platform, we developed a mixed reality decision support system that enhances a classic radar system by gathering all data, including ice targets, oil targets, ships, wave and current data, and small targets. This system then displays critical data, in context, on the visual overlay of the MS Hololens.
Our proprietary software, dataVUE is in charge of feeding the data to Bridgevue – it takes radar data, processes and consolidates the data from each varying source, and then contextualizes and populates each individual object – you can see oil slicks, icebergs, ships and platforms, etc. Using the Microsoft Hololens, dataVUE centralizes the user on the radar position, and takes each tracked item or object, and clearly defined 3D models are populated relative to your position.
Using head and movement tracking, while simultaneously updating each existing object’s movement and creating any new objects that enter the radar’s range, BridgeVUE displays potential hazards, small targets – any object detected by the radar system – in real time; regardless of visibility, day or night.
